Really tasty! I've never eaten chicken like this before, and the sauce is amazing. Large quantities at reasonable rates.
This place is a hidden gem! It is never busy when we go, the food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. The food is always so fresh and cooked to perfection. Plus the food is reasonably priced and you get huge portions! Highly recommended getting the grilled chicken with a side of the tater tots, but everything we've tried here has been delicious so you can't chose wrong. This is a solid choice if you are in the Ballard area and looking for a fast casual place to eat!
My out-of-town business visitor and needed to find something delicious for lunch. He mentioned grilled chicken and I remembered this place in Ballard / Fremont area that I had seen so many times and really wanted to try. We each ordered 1/2 chicken with the lemon sauce. It was awesome. Full-flavor, tender, filling, and good value. Check it out!
My friends and I decided to try this place for a late lunch as it has been on my yelp list for a while. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. We ordered the shared meals which include the whole chicken, 2 kebabs, and 4 sides (we chose, kale salad, corn, tater tots and grilled veggies). We also got the cheesy bites as well. They mistakenly made an extra of the galos salad so we got that as well. Sides: I love most of the sides. The salad was creative, refreshing and flavorful. The grilled veggies was ok, I wish they didn't put cheese on them. But otherwise, it was all good. The tatertots and cheesy bites was perfectly crispy. The corn was ok, I wish they were able to cut the corn in smaller pieces so we can share. Kebabs: juicy but bland. Chicken: super juicy and flavorful. We got the hot piri sauce and it was a little spicy. Chicken was tender as well. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food we got. We shared it among 4 people and we were all stuffed. Definitely a good place for family style meal
The wings are delicious. Quite juicy and cooked perfectly. The quarter chicken was dry and I will not order that again. So if you like chicken wings, not dredged in flour, but with piri piri sauce, this is the place. I am used to traditional hot piri piri, and even keep sauce at home for my home made chicken dishes, although not their brand. They have several flavors including traditional medium, hot, and extra hot, as well as garlic, and lemon sauces. The hot piri piri is not really hot, and mixing the sauces together in combination makes a very tasty flavor for the meat. All the sides are full of carbs except the grilled veggies. Or the ceasar salad is good for low carb. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The folks that served me seemed very happy to be working there. They gave great customer service. I recomend you give them a try, at least for the wings with piri piri sauce.
